Join 2025 CAMP Poop Scoop MotoGP Fantasy League
For the seventh year in a row we are organizing our annual MotoGP Fantasy League! Pick your six riders and see what happens! You have time until February 25th. Send an email to michele@motocamping.club with the name of your team and the six riders you choose.
This year’s MotoGP Fantasy league is open to both CAMP members and non: your entry ticket is cheaper than last year: $10 if you are a CAMP member and $20 if you aren’t.
However, this year I have introduced a dishonesty fee. Anybody who wants to have Marc Marquez in their Fantasy Team will need to pay a $30 dishonesty fee in addition to their entry fee: you want the most dishonest sportsman in sport’s history? You can, but you pay (but still, shame on you).
The entire sum collected with the entry and dishonesty fees goes to buy prizes for the winner. If you come in last place you get a nice camping poop scoop (which is what gives the name to our Fantasy League.
The winning prize will be communicated as soon as we know how many people are participating in the League (the more participants, the more dishonest folks, the more money, the bigger the prizes). Previous years’ prizes included Jetboil stoves, Stanley Beer Growlers with mugs, knives, gas collapsible containers, maps.
How it works
Your team will be made of 6 riders, to be chosen from the options below: 5 riders from the MotoGP series (one from the red group, one from the blue group, and so forth) and one rider from Moto2.
After each weekend, your team will obtain the SUM of the points obtained by your riders in the two weekend races. Every week there will be in fact two races, a Sprint one on Saturday and a Regular one on Sunday. Points will be assigned according to the MotoGP official point system:
In Saturday’s Sprint race only nine riders score points:, the winner gets 12 points, with the remaining eight positions down to ninth scoring 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 points.
In the regular Sunday’s races, the top 15 riders score points: 25 points for first place, 20 for second and so on: 16, 13, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
Example: If a rider in your team finishes in 1st position in the sprint race, and fifth in the regular race, he will get 23 points (12+11). If one or more riders in your team do not score points in any race, they obtain 0 (zero) points. If your rider gets injured and cannot race, you are getting zero points.
The team at the end of the season with the most points will be the winner. In case of a tie, the team whose riders had the most wins in the Regular Sunday races is the winner; if the tie persists, the team with the most wins in the Regular AND in the Sprint races wins. If that doesn’t fix it, the team with the highest number of all of the above and of pole positions in Sprint races wins. In the very unlikely case we still have a tie at this point, we draw a winner among the tied teams.
I (Michele) will act as the Commissioner, keeping track of every participant’s points after every race, and updating it all in this spreadsheet available for consultation every week.
How to register and how to pay the buying in fee?

Pay your fee via Venmo or PayPal (we will send you the handle to pay to) and you are good to go.
